Mirage Aircraft Model: The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French multirole, single-engine fourth-generation jet fighter manufactured by Dassault Aviation. It was designed in the late 1970s as a lightweight fighter to replace the Mirage III for the French Air Force (Armee de l’air). The Mirage 2000 evolved into a multi-role aircraft with several variants developed, with sales to a number of nations. The Mirage 2000B is a trainer variant that first flew on 11 October 1980. The French Air Force acquired 30 Mirage 2000Bs, and all three fighter wings each obtained several of them for conversion training.
Dassault Mirage 2000B
Designed as a fighter for the French Air Force, the Dassault Mirage 2000 was first flown on March 10th, 1978. The Mirage 2000 is a fighter based on the Mirage III. It has a delta wing, and one engine, and can carry a range of air-to-surface weapons, including laser-guided bombs. Mirage Aircraft Model Variants include a single-seat or dual-seat version.
